Meet Steve
Steve Hole is a professional dog trainer, certified by the British Institute of Professional Dog Trainers, with over 20 years of hands-on experience. He proudly serves as the owner of Crossroads Resort where his expertise and dedication to canine care shine through. Steve takes pride in offering a facility where dogs and clients alike are given a second chance to cultivate relationships and collaborate towards achieving their goals.
With years of industry experience working with diverse breeds, from puppies to adults, Steve brings a wealth of knowledge. Beyond Crossroads Steve also serves as a PAT (Pets as Therapy) assessor, embodying his ethos of enhancing the health and wellbeing of both animals and their owners.
Meet Elle
Elle Tuck is an award-winning professional dog trainer and the owner of Clever Canines Ltd. She holds a Master’s degree in Psychology, with academic training in Applied Animal Behaviour and Clinical Animal Behaviour, shaping a thoughtful, evidence-based approach to both canine and human behaviour.
Elle is a registered Animal Training Instructor with the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) and the Animal Behaviour and Training Council (ABTC). Her experience spans practical training, behaviour modification, and real-world application, including collaborative work with charities such as Medical Detection Dogs, supporting their bio-detection dogs.
At the heart of Elle’s work is a belief that no two dogs are the same. She is passionate about tailoring training and behaviour support to each individual dog, taking into account temperament, motivation, environment, and learning history.

Training Classes
At Crossroads we understand that each dog’s learning journey is unique, so we have adopted a flexible ‘pay-as-you-go’ structure for all our classes. This approach ensures that you can tailor your dog’s training to their evolving needs. We believe this method supports a more personalised and effective learning experience.
Puppy Classes
Where little paws embark on a big journey. Our classes are designed for puppies aged 12–24 weeks, focusing on crucial early development, socialisation, and foundational training. Each session is tailored to help your puppy grow into a well-behaved, sociable, and confident adult dog.

Progression Classes

In our progression classes, you and your canine companion will delve deeper into training techniques, refine existing skills, and introduce more advanced cues and behaviours to strengthen the bond between you and your furry friend.
